  1. Hi, I had a similar issue with my rev3 a few years back, turned out to be a grounding issue where a wire had rubbed off the frame until the insulation was removed on a small position. The core of the wire would contact the frame under vibration and cause a misfire. Worth a look, pull the radiator out to get good access to wires behind head stock and check them all for damage. You can use electrical tape as a temporary fix on the damaged section to help determine if it's the cause of your issue.

  3. Used to have a 98 techno and had similar issue. If after bypassing the thermostat the fan still doesn't work then your fan regulator will likely be the culprit. It's a small black box mounted under the seat as I remember. Goes without saying but check for loose interconnecting cables before replacing the regulator.
